Department of Social Communications and Information Activities was established on August 23, 2011. The staff of the department has already showed itself as a team of professionals: teachers, scientists and practitioners who can effectively solve a wide range of tasks in the field of information activity, using advanced technologies. From 2016 the department prepares specialists and masters in the specialty "Information, Library and Archival Affairs".
