Svitlana Omelianivna Lisina - candidate of historical sciences, associate professor at the Department of Social Communications and Information Activities of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Biography

Date of birth: April 10, 1958

Education:

In 1982 she graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Culture named after O.E. Korniychuk in the field of library science and bibliography and received a qualification as a "librarian-bibliographer".

In 2008 she defended her candidate's thesis on the theme: "Military-organizational activity of the OUN in 1929-1939: (documentary aspect)" in the specialty 20.02.22 - military history.

Supervisor: candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Ihor Havryliv, associate professor of the Department of History, Theory and Practice of Culture of Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Professional activity

1976-1992 - a librarian and chief methodologist of the Lviv Regional Scientific Library for adults;

1992-2003 - teacher of documentation and library disciplines of the Lviv School of Culture and Arts;

2004-2011 - teacher of documentary disciplines of the Department of History, Theory and Practice of Culture, Lviv Polytechnic National University;

August 2011 - Associate Professor of the Department of Social Communications and Information Activities.

The total length of work is 45 years, of which 26 years of teaching: at the Lviv School of Culture and Arts - 10 years, at the Lviv Polytechnic University - 16 years.

Academic activities

She manages graduate theses, is a member of the State Examination Commission. Organizes the work of a scientific student circle for documentary studies.
