Vozniuk Henadii Leonidovych

Vozniuk Henadii Leonidovych is a candidate of Philological Sciences, associate professor, head of the Department of Ukrainian Language at Lviv Polytechnic National University, winner of the prize named after Ivan Ohiienko, was awarded «Excellence in Education of Ukraine», author of about 150 scientific papers on issues of Ukrainian literature and linguistics, particularly on issues of terminology, spelling, speech culture, methods of teaching Ukrainian language etc.

Since 1975 has been teaching at Lviv Polytechnic National University. On December 1989 became a head of the newly created Department of Ukrainian Language at Lviv Polytechnic National University, which has become educational and methodological center of the case of humanitarization of technical education, normalization of Ukrainian scientific and technical terminology, orthography processing issues, improvement of speech culture and business communication. Vozniuk H.L. has a wide range of expertise in the field of applied linguistics and teaching methods of business Ukrainian and Ukrainian language (for professional purposes); as head of authoring teams participated in the creation of more than thirty teaching publications.

Actively working in the field of financial and economic terms, contributes to its improvement and development by creating new and adjusting existing terms and terminology bringing them into the line with formative tools of modern Ukrainian language. Prepared in collaboration with A. H. Zahorodnim a number of terminological dictionaries, including «Dictionary-handbook on entrepreneurship and construction economics» (Lviv, 1994), «Financial dictionary» (Lviv, 1996; 1997; 2000; 2002) – the latest edition was awarded Ivan Ohiienko prize (2002), «Securities. Stock market» (Lviv, 1999), «Banking glossary» (2000), «Accounting and Audit» (Lviv, 2002; 2012), «Investment dictionary» (Lviv, 2005), «Financial and economic dictionary» (Lviv, 2005; K, 2007; Lviv, 2011), ), «Foreign trade» (K., 2007), «Financial Services Market» (Lviv, 2008), «Exchange. Stock exchange transactions» (K., 2008), «Banking» (Lviv, 2010), «Trade. Marketing. Advertising» (Lviv, 2011), «Dictionary of Economic aphoristics» (2013), and many other specialized economic vocabularies. Took part as co-author in preparing three-volume «Economic Encyclopedia» (K., 2000) and «Encyclopedia of Banking of Ukraine» (Kyiv, 2001).
