Myna Zhana Vasylivna is a Ukrainian scientist, candidate of Historical Sciences, senior lecturer at the Department of Social Communications and Information Activities.
Biography
Born on 6th January 1973 in Vinnytsia region in family of white workers.
- In 1996 graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv having received diploma with specialization in «History of Ukraine»;
- From 1997 to 1998 worked as a head of learning and teaching cabinet of the Department of Ukrainian History, Science and Technology of Lviv Polytechnic National University;
- In 1998-2004 – assistant professor at the Department of Ukrainian History, Science and Technology;
- In 2004-2011 – senior lecturer at the Department of History, Theory and Practice of Culture (now - Department of History of Ukraine and Ethnic Communication);
- Since 2011 to present – senior lecturer at the Department of Social Communications and Information Activities.
Areas of research
- Documentation of historical processes in Ukrainian Wikipedia
- Annotation of scientific literature.
Scientific work
Candidate of Historical Sciences since 3rd December 2008.
Defended her thesis at Specialized Academic Council of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Majoring in 20.02.22 – Military history.
Author of more than 50 scholarly and educational works.
Co-author of 2 textbooks:
- History of Ukraine and its nationhood: Textbook
- Khoma I. Y. History of Ukrainian culture: Textbook for students of engineering and economic specialties.
