Department of Social Communications and Information Activities is teaching and research unit of Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Lviv Polytechnic National University that provides training of specialists in document science and data analysis.

Postgraduate and doctoral studies
Department of Social Communications and Information Activities conducts training of scientific personnel in the fields of postgraduate studies and doctoral studies:

Scientific library of Lviv Polytechnic National University
Scientific library of Lviv Polytechnic National University is one of the biggest libraries among institutions of higher education of Ukraine. Library is a unit of the University and serving as bibliographic, scientific, educational and cultural institution provides training process, academic activity, research, cultural, educational work with books and other data carriers that make up library holding. The library holding consists of 1 million 800 thousand books and magazines. The most part of it is scientific literature.
